Junior Instructor Training (J.C.I.T.)

Across our schools we are always looking for young leaders and there is no better place to grow and develop those skills than in a fun and challenging martial arts programme.  Our Junior Certificate Instructor Training (JCIT) programme identifies young potential leaders and gives them the tools to become role-models in their classes and communities.  The skills they learn will not only help them to assist and teach in classes but they will also help them as they grown and navigate the every day challenges of life.

They will learn:

  • leadership skills
  • independent thinking
  • how to run safe warm-ups and martial arts activities
  • to become role models in everything they do
  • communication skills & more!

If selected, our JCIT students are eligible to wear our unique red / black uniform as well as having access to a special range of JCIT clothing.

WHO CAN JOIN THE JCIT PROGRAMME?

This programme is invitation only by your instructor.  You do not have to be a particular age (as long as you are at least in our junior programme) or belt level – we are simply looking for students who;

  • Have a fantastic attitude
  • Naturally go out of their way to help others
  • Try their best in everything they do
  • Show potential leadership qualities

We teach our JCIT members a variety of skills to be able to give back and help others – inspiring the next generation of black belts and potential leaders.  Through the year we run both JCIT courses (Levels 1-3) as well as training to practice their teaching skills:
