Master Finch

Head Instructor

MF Kent started in 2006 with the aim of providing high quality and educational martial arts opportunities for as many people as possible. Being a student of martial arts for over 34yrs, I am passionate about providing the same opportunities I was given and I am incredibly proud of our MF Kent family that has grown and matured over the years.

Starting martial arts at the age of 14yrs old I followed the footsteps of my sister. Having trained for 2yrs prior, she showed me the huge benefits of martial arts both mentally and physically. Over the years I am extremely lucky enough to have been taught by some of the top international instructors globally as well as training with both the England and New Zealand national teams as a youngster.

As well as being the head of the MF Kent team I am privileged to be responsible for the MF Curriculum and Examination Board. This also involves working with all the MF Instructors across the globe to ensure we provide the best level of tuition and education we can.

Miss Calder

Instructor

I'm Miss Calder and I have been doing MF Martial Arts since the age of three and a half, which is now coming up to 19 years. This community has grown my confidence, self respect and self discipline. It has given me a foundation at times when life has been difficult and it has challenged me to push myself to do things I never thought I would or could do.

I am now a third degree black belt and an instructor in various schools. I also recently spent 4 months working in Australia with the team that works with Master Weir and Master Canavan. MF has also supported me in other areas of martial arts, even with becoming a 3x Taekwondo World Champion.

Alongside Martial Arts I am a qualified Sports Therapist and Rehabilitation Practitioner, and I have recently embarked on growing my business and passionate to give back to the community.

Mr Williams

Instructor

I’m Oliver, I’m 28 years old and have been doing Martial Arts for over 22 years!

Having done martial arts for the majority of my life and having started at the young age of 6, it is safe to say that it has been an integral part of my life, and I absolutely would not be the person I am today without it.

Being a relatively short kid and bullied at school, learning to defend myself not only physically but having a new found confidence, self determination and general respect for everything has made me the person I am today. A mental strength and passion of martial arts of which I hope to pass onto my students, to give them the best possible head start in life.
